Most people just bring home a stick of rock from the beach when they go, but this pair may have just bitten off a bit more than they can chew. In the picture police are hunting these two men, who can be seen carrying 120mm anti-tank shells that washed up at Warbarrow Bay, Dorset. From my estimation each of these warheads is carrying 19kg;
This link shows 20kg of ANFO High Explosive (slightly more potent I would imagine), just to give you an idea of the damage one of these would do…
Warbarrow is part of a 7,000 acre site, used for many years as a test firing range for artillery, and anti-tank units, and by all accounts much ordnance is located there, but is usually properly dealt with. This case comes after a man moved into a new house and found two UXO shells in his under-stairs cupboard.
Please don’t replicate this pair of idiots…. if you think anything like this is possibly “live”, then call the proper authorities.
